This guide is for self-serve users setting up deals directly with publishers. It explains the key details advertisers and publishers need to exchange to successfully create and launch deals on the illumin platform.
When working with a seller to create a 1:1 deal, you'll need to provide the publisher with your illumin Agency ID. If an SSP or publisher asks for a Buyer ID, provide the illumin Agency ID.
To locate your Agency ID, log in to illumin and click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the page. On the Settings page, expand the Agencies folder. Go to the agency row and copy the Agency ID.
You need to provide the publisher or SSP with the illumin DSP name or seat ID. Find that information in the table below.
| SSP | Seat ID | Seat Name |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft (Xandr) | 1274 | - |
| 84903954 | illumin | |
| PubMatic | 1 | illumin |
| Bidswitch | 236 | - |
| OpenX | - | illumin |

After the publisher creates a deal in their SSP, gather the following information from them. You'll need these details to set up the deal on the illumin platform.
Once the Inventory team approves the deal, the client or their Account Manager, acting on their behalf, can add the deal to the Illumin platform.
Deals created via Broadsign are automatically added to illumin. If these deals do not appear in your account, contact your Account Manager to help troubleshoot.
For SSPs not specifically mentioned, always:
Double-check that you’re using the correct Buyer ID and deal details before sending anything to the publisher.
