Manage Journey Canvas Templates

Who doesn’t appreciate the efficiency of templates? They save time and remove you from the tedious task of building the same journey structure again and again. That’s where Journey Canvas templates step in like a hero. Just grab a template, drop it onto the canvas, and voilà. You’re all set to add creatives, audiences, targeting, and customizations.

Use any of our fully customizable stock templates, or create your own for reuse. Just a quick note: templates are only available for Journey Canvas. We don’t have Classic Canvas templates (yet), but stay tuned.

Opening the templates library

The library of pre-built (stock) templates, which you can customize, and custom templates (the ones you create from scratch and save) is available inside the Journey Canvas environment. There are several ways to access the library.

Stock template options overview

Awareness Open Web Journey

If you select this option, illumin drops four ready-to-rock paths onto the Awareness stage. Each path comes pre-configured for a different creative type for quick utilization, but you are free to modify or delete those paths at will.

Engagement Open Web Journey

A great option to build engagement. The template drops three paths onto the canvas with ready-to-load video, native display, and display steps. Because they're all about engagement, the paths come pre-loaded with Click conditions (which you can customize).

Conversion Open Web Journey

Convert site traffic into sales or increase basket size through native display and display campaigns.

Multi-channel full-funnel journey

Transition users across a three-stage, multi-channel journey from awareness to conversion.

Saving as a new template

Let's say you drop a template onto the canvas, make all kinds of customizations, and create an intricate masterpiece that you'd love to use again and again on other journeys.

The solution is simple: save your pièce de résistance as a custom path, connected path, or journey template. Click here to learn how.
