FAQs

Why does CTR Control not affect a new tactic that was just added?

CTR Control does not affect a new tactic because the optimization does not auto-apply to locations added after creation. Marketers must manually add the new tactic to the existing CTR Control optimization to activate CTR-based bidding for that location.

Is CTR Control optimization required to add locations?

Recreating the optimization is not required to add locations. Marketers can edit the active CTR Control optimization and select additional locations. This method preserves historical settings and avoids unnecessary duplication.

What happens if a location is not added to CTR Control?

A location that is not added to CTR Control runs without CTR-based bid optimization. This gap can create uneven performance across a journey and reduce alignment with the intended optimization strategy.
